Introduction
of sub-chambers |

| CCCLA has 18 Sub-Chamber (coordinating groups):
Sub-Chamber of Footwear, Furniture, Toys,
Suitcases & Bags, Ceramics, Jewelry &
Ornaments, Artex (Articles of Daily Use) and
coordinating groups of Headgear, Wigs, Glassware,
Reed, Willow, Bamboo and Rattan Products,
Thermos, Tents (Sporting Goods), Umbrella,
Glass, Writing Instruments (Stationery), Paper,
and Musical Instruments. The sub-branches
have been set up as the basic organizations
to conduct specialized work concerning ten
different product categories. Enterprises
involved in the trade of the same category
join in the same sub-branch to maintain
discipline in the trade.

The functions of the sub-branches
include:
1. to coordinate the import and export of
the products that fall in a certain category.
2. to organize its member enterprises to establish
agreements of the same trade and supervise
the implementation of those agreements.
3. to invite public bidding of quotas for
certain export products within its scope of
coordination, designate agreed price limit
for certain export goods, and either submit
the agreement to the customs for export price
supervision or supervise export price of these
products by itself, follow the effect of these
measures.
4. to cooperate with the Department of Fair
Trade in its investigation for anti-dumping
cases and its work to protect intellectual
property rights.
5. to collect and sort basic data of trade
within its scope of coordination, and to make
periodic analysis on the general import and
export trade situation of the product category,
and specific analysis on certain key export
products.
6. to settle competition disputes and safeguard
the order in the trade of products within
its scope of coordination.
7. to organize lectures, seminars, trainings
and market investigations within its scope
of coordination.
8. to establish communication and exchange
information with overseas organizations and
institutions of the same trade.
9. to take part in the work for China Export
Commodities Fair(the Canton Fair), local trade
fairs, other domestic trade exhibitions and
overseas trade exhibitions.
10. to make suggestions and proposals to the
government on behalf of its members in order
to solve the problems and overcome difficulties
that they encounter in the import and export
activities.
to provide information and consulting service
for its member enterprises.
